I'm back for summer!

Where has time gone?

I can't believe it has been so long since I have written on here and I didn't realize how much I have missed it.

Well....I am going to have this baby!! I can't believe it! I am a few days from 38 weeks and I am scheduled to have our little girl on July 4th.

Syd and Noah have been having a wonderful summer so far with trips to see their grandparents, their new baby cousin, Adrian, vacation to Myrtle Beach, and of course afternoons at the community pool.

I am pretty happy with how much I have kept up even though I feel HUGE! But I am trying to enjoy this pregnancy as much as possible, as it is going to be our last.

Shane and I just celebrated our 11 year anniversary yesterday. I can't believe how fast it has gone! We have grown together and everyday I fall more and more in love with him. He is my life. My best friend.

I will keep up as much as possible the next few months :) I am really going to try! :)

2011, where did you come from?

Happy New Year! I can't believe it is another year! Where did 2010 go? However, I am happy to see it fade into the past. Many things were learned, many trials and tribulations, many ups and downs, but in the end.....Our family stands stronger than ever.

So much as happened that I don't know where to start. So, it will be easier to start with today. What is going on, how life is, jobs, the kids, news, and etc.

First things: Noah is doing fabulous in school. He is getting all A's (no pressure as teacher's kid) so far and is doing well. He has really amazed us with his math skills!! We have a new math series/program and I think it is really working for him! His reading is just blowing me out of the
wtaer! He loves to read and his Mimi got him Captain Underpants series for Christmas and we read every night. He just giggles and giggles. Noah is so into Star Wars....still!! He gets that from his Daddy of course, so that is something they enjoy together! It just puts me to sleep!! lol.
We aren't going to Cub Scouts anymore. He loved the activities outside of the meetings, but wasn't clicking with the kids there. I couldn't give him my attention being the den leader, so we left. I thought the break would make him want it back, but it did the opposite. He basically told me he just wanted to be a kid :) So that is what we are doing!

Sydney is spunky and full of life! She keeps my husband and I on our toes! Her creative side (she gets from me) has blossomed. Her pictures are amazing and I just want to keep Every.Single.One! She is going to Pre-K half days and is doing well. I was worried about her
because she was never into knowing her ABCs and counting, but she has caught up and is doing awesome. She just wanted to do it when she was ready, so I am glad I didn't force it :) She stays with her BFF before school and LOVES being there. She is still doing dance and is getting so good at it. She comes home to show us her new dance steps and routines. Did I mention she is adorable?? She melts hearts. Seriously.

Baby: Well, you all know about my miscarriage I had a while was horrific. I wouldn't wish that upon my worst enemy. But I won't dwell on that because our baby is in heaven and someday I will hold him/her. Till then, we tried again and succeeded. So I am proud to announce that the world will be blessed with yet another beautiful life. We are due the beginning of July
and can't wait! The ultrasounds have been a blessing and we are so happy that things are turning out great. We find out in February what we having (hopefully) and if everything is okay and healthy. I haven't been able to go into the nursery yet. There is still a fear and I am so afraid now. I think once we have that ultrasound in February, I will be able to get myself in there and start preparing for the arrival. I hope.

I can't say enough that I am glad that 2009 and 2010 are in the past. Those were very difficult years for us. But I am ready for 2011 as through those difficulties many things were learned.

"Other things may change us, but we start and end with family"
"Some love lasts a lifetime. True love lasts forever."

With that said, everyone have a wonderful 2011. I know I will!!
